ITG’s temperature control system is designed to continuously measure and record grain temperature during storage in silos and warehouses.

By monitoring and analyzing real-time data, the system helps detect and prevent issues such as spoilage, insect infestation, germination, and moisture loss. This enables timely interventions to preserve grain quality throughout the entire storage period.

System Features – Standard Configuration

  • Real-time display: Temperature readings from each sensor are shown live in °C on a 4-lined LCD display.
  • Easy operation: Values are accessed using arrow keys on the front panel.
  • Live monitoring only: The panel does not record data; it displays only the most recently read temperature values.
  • Recommended capacity: Ideal for facilities with up to 28 temperature probes or a maximum of 2 silos (or flat storage units) — best suited for low-capacity structures.
  • Cost-effective solution: The most economical option for grain temperature monitoring.
  • Weather-resistant housing: The control panel is IP65-rated, making it suitable for outdoor installation.

Optional Upgrades

  • Upgrade 2: Integration of external temperature and humidity sensors for monitoring ambient conditions.
  • Upgrades 3 & 4: When enhanced with RS485 communication and ITG software, the system supports:
    • Computer or web-based monitoring and data recording
    • Centralized visualization of multiple panels on a single screen
    • Scalable expansion for facilities of all sizes

System Features – UCP PLC Configuration

  • Real-time display: Temperature readings from each sensor are shown live in °C on a 4-inch screen.
  • Intuitive navigation: Select any silo or warehouse using on-screen icons to view and manage all temperature values for that unit.
  • Short-term data logging: The UCP records recent measurements and displays the latest live temperature readings for each storage unit individually.
  • High capacity: A single module can read up to 270 temperature sensors, with the option to add multiple modules depending on facility size.
  • Ambient monitoring: With an additional WS module, the UCP can measure and display real-time ambient temperature and relative humidity.
  • Advanced yet practical: A technological and user-friendly solution for temperature monitoring in grain storage facilities.
  • Flexible installation: Designed for indoor mounting or integration inside outdoor-rated enclosures.

Optional Upgrade

Upgrade 3: Remote access without a computer: Secure, web-based monitoring from any location via an internet connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi).
